The Short Version

Hi, I'm Taylor.

I'm the person behind Swaps Made Simple and @taygoesfresh — mama to three girls, wife, bougie hippie at heart, and your whole-body wellness bestie. I've spent years helping women lessen their body burden by swapping products, fueling their bodies, and supporting their drainage pathways.

For the last seven years, I built a full-time clean beauty network marketing business from nothing. Nearly a million dollars in personal sales. Over a hundred thousand people helped. Ingredient labels became my love language — I've read thousands of them, and I don't recommend anything I wouldn't use on my own family.

But here's what most people don't see: even at the top, I was still looking for something bigger to stand behind.

Where I Started

A conventional upbringing — and a body that was asking for more.

My upbringing was run-of-the-mill conventional. Ultra-processed foods, fast food, Hot Pockets, Marie Callender's microwave meals. Personal care and cleaning products from Target, Bath & Body Works, and the mall. My parents raised me in alignment with all the standard public health recommendations — and while nothing was technically "wrong," I was a shell of myself. I knew there had to be a different way.

Growing up I dealt with severe asthma (I needed my inhaler just from laughing too hard), allergies, eczema, and yearly rounds of pneumonia, bronchitis, tonsillitis, and strep throat. Steroids, antibiotics, allergy shots, maintenance medications. Depression and anxiety started early — along with self-harm and anorexia as a teenager. My body was screaming, and the only answers offered were more medications.

Everything shifted when I unexpectedly became pregnant with my oldest daughter at 17. I wanted her to be healthy in a way I hadn't been — and that spark sent me down the path I've been on ever since.

My Health Journey

Eleven years of learning. A complete 180.

I've spent the last eleven years deep-diving into every corner of health I could get my hands on. I don't claim to know it all — I'm a proud forever learner — but my health has done a complete turnaround. I noticed a huge shift almost immediately after eliminating toxic personal care and cleaning products. I get minor colds a couple times a year, but that's it. I couldn't tell you the last time I've been to the doctor. I don't even use my inhaler anymore.

After seven years of building at full speed — and a slew of recent health issues — I found myself searching again. Not because clean beauty failed me as a category, but because I needed something that fit where my body and my life are right now.

The skincare line I'd been with for years hadn't been jiving with my skin for a while. That's a me thing — my skin, my season of life, my body asking for something different. I've continued to share and stand behind that brand because I believe in what they do for families, and I would never want anyone to read this as me throwing shade at a company I've built real trust around.

I didn't need another ingredient list. I needed a bigger mission to get excited about — a company whose whole reason for being matched what I'd been asking the industry to do for years. That's what sent me down the Ringana rabbit hole.

How I got here.

The spark

Like a lot of people in this space, I started because something in my own life needed to change. I fell in love with the idea that sharing genuinely better products could be a real business — not just a side hustle, but something that helped people every single day.

That early energy — telling everyone I loved about something that actually worked — is still the feeling I'm chasing.

Seven years of building

I went all in. Systems, mentorship, late nights studying formulations, countless DMs helping someone decode their first ingredient list. I learned what moves people to switch — and what makes them stay switched.

Along the way I helped over a hundred thousand people swap the toxic products in their homes. That number still humbles me.

The honest chapter

After seven years — and a slew of recent health issues — I found myself searching again. Looking for products that could genuinely help me, and for that early energy of being all-in on something I believed in. I hadn't lost faith in clean living. I was ready for a mission I could feel all the way through.

I still wanted to help people. I was just done with compromises — and hungry for a company whose standards I didn't have to explain away.

Discovering Ringana

Earlier this year, I learned about Ringana — a family-founded Austrian company that's been making fresh, totally toxin free skincare and supplements since 1996. Fresh production instead of preservation. Full-potency plant actives. An in-house campus, not outsourced manufacturing. A public transparency report you can actually read.

I've been watching the calendar for the U.S. launch ever since. This is the bar I've wanted the industry to meet for years.

Miami — meeting the people behind it

I recently flew to Miami to sit down with Ringana's corporate staff — and with Michael, the son of the founders, who's still heavily involved. I brought every question I had. They answered them.

What stuck with me was how much they know, and how they talk to each other. Real family values at a massive scale. You can feel the mission in how they actually operate.
